平移式IS影像穩(wěn)定器不僅在光學(xué)方面發(fā)揮作用，也為雙眼望遠(yuǎn)鏡的輕量化與小型化做出了貢獻(xiàn)。雙眼望遠(yuǎn)鏡基于人體工程學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)，并得益于小型手抖動(dòng)補(bǔ)償單元的采用，提高了握持舒適性。加之輕量鏡身，長(zhǎng)時(shí)間單手握持也具有良好的體驗(yàn)。能夠輕松放入包中，攜帶方便。

令畫面穩(wěn)定而鮮明的平移式IS影像穩(wěn)定器

配備與單反相機(jī)用EF鏡頭相同的平移式IS影像穩(wěn)定器。采用振動(dòng)陀螺儀檢測(cè)手抖動(dòng)的方向和抖動(dòng)量，通過(guò)向消除抖動(dòng)的方向移動(dòng)補(bǔ)償鏡片，穩(wěn)定影像。通過(guò)提升振動(dòng)陀螺儀的性能以及采用微處理器等，實(shí)現(xiàn)了比8x25 IS更強(qiáng)有效的手抖動(dòng)補(bǔ)償。具有能夠補(bǔ)償身體晃動(dòng)等較大幅度抖動(dòng)的特性（10x32 IS / 12x32 IS / 14x32 IS的強(qiáng)力IS相當(dāng)），并針對(duì)觀察移動(dòng)目標(biāo)或搖擺尋找目標(biāo)時(shí)觀察效果進(jìn)行了優(yōu)化。電池可支持IS防抖工作約12小時(shí)（+23℃，基于佳能測(cè)試標(biāo)準(zhǔn)）。

畫面四周都能清晰成像的平場(chǎng)鏡

配備從畫面中心到四周都能鮮明成像的平場(chǎng)鏡。對(duì)焦于平面時(shí)，可補(bǔ)償導(dǎo)致周邊部模糊的像面彎曲，以清晰的畫面進(jìn)行觀察。鏡片性能不好的話，越靠近邊緣，畫質(zhì)越低，畫面越模糊，還會(huì)變形。得益于平場(chǎng)鏡的效果，畫面邊緣部都可清晰呈現(xiàn)。

實(shí)現(xiàn)高透光率和高對(duì)比度的超級(jí)光譜鍍膜

超級(jí)光譜鍍膜是通過(guò)在鏡片表面實(shí)施特殊的多層鍍膜，可提高透光率，抑制鏡筒內(nèi)漫反射和偏色。所有鏡片和棱鏡都采用了超級(jí)光譜鍍膜，實(shí)現(xiàn)了高透光率和高對(duì)比度。鏡片性能不好的話，鏡筒內(nèi)部會(huì)產(chǎn)生光線的漫反射，破壞色彩平衡或降低對(duì)比度。超級(jí)光譜鍍膜能夠抑制偏色，得到高對(duì)比度影像。

高倍率的同時(shí)，實(shí)現(xiàn)了約2米的較近對(duì)焦距離。在博物館、美術(shù)館等狹小空間中使用時(shí)，觀察小動(dòng)物、野鳥(niǎo)、花和昆蟲(chóng)時(shí)等，使用對(duì)焦距離短的IS雙眼望遠(yuǎn)鏡，可以放大觀察近距離的目標(biāo)。
